Hi,
I'm an IMG..Graduated in 2001..did MD anesthesiology(2002-04).No US clinical experience..got 90 and 88 in steps 1&2..took cs in july but got my result in oct(Failed)..taken cs again on Nov21st..waiting for my result..applied to 20 anesthesia programs..10 IM Prelims and 10 transitional year positions.(did not apply to many becoz of my failure in cs).6 rejections out of 20 anesthesia program..one transitional position on priority hold so far.can anyone tell me the best course of action.heard that anesthesia is pretty tough..in that case can anyone suggest me the programs that offer prelims position in internal medicine for IMG..will be grateful to you..thanks and GL..
