Step-1 2006 edition versus 2005...any difference?? - taimur920

hi I plan to give step-1 in october-november next year
Some body told me and it is also written on the kaplan website that they have updated all the assesment questions and pharma,anatomy,biochem etc. lecture notes.
Should I wait for the new edition to come or shoul I study from 2005 edition.When does the new edition come in the open market like in ebay or classified section.
please help?

You think that the assessment Qs make any huge difference? I don't think so. You will need Kaplan Q bank anyway, those Qs after each chapter are not that crucial. There are too few to cover the whole chapter content.

So if you already have 2005, just use them. If not, then it is up to you if you want to wait till the official 2006 edition is released.

Many many friends got high scores even with edition 2000 (the three thick ones). They made no big changes in the notes.
