A large study of serum folate level in women aged16-45 yr reveals that this parameter is normally distributed,with mean of 5.0ng/ml and a SD of 0.5ng/ml.according to study results,95% of serum folate observation in these patients woll ie between the following of limits:
A:4.0 and 6.0 ng/ml
B:4.0 and 5.5ng/ml
C:4.5 and 5.5 ng/ml
D:3.5 and 6.0ng/ml
E:3.5 and 6.5 ng/ml

Same problem..........as the first one...........
95% observation falls in between mean +/- 2SD
so mean - 2SD to mean + 2SD
5.0 - 2(0.5) to 5.0 + 2(0.5) = 4 to 6 ng/ml

is it between -3SD to +3SD
5.0-3(0.5) to 5.0 +3(.5)=3.5 to 6.5
please tell.
