I was told on a couple of my interviews that I should ask programs about their accreditation length, to help determine if the program was good or not.
I think the formula they suggested was:
3 years - bad
4 years - Ok
5 years - Best
I didn't want to come off rude so I didn't ask. However, I just figured out you can search programs on the ACGME website ( http://www.acgme.org/adspublic/ ) and I'm wondering if this matters or its all just more BS to get you to rank them higher
