Where have you prematched? - goddoc
#1
I am a 2013 Match aspirant. Seems like nowadays 99 step scores are not enough to get iv calls. Lots of programs prefer candidates with prior home training. Also many need more than 6 months USCE. Research is being highly valued by many programs.

Just to get the clear picture, i request people who have already prematched into any residency position to mention their credentials here. Please also mention how many Iv's you got.

This will help people going for the next years match to understand :
1. How difficult is to match at all
2. What all do a particular speciality program look for in an applicant.

Thanks.

High scores, good LORs /USCE, timely application (9/1), good interview skills... and if your YOG is recent, you are ok. These are the basics.

Asking people to post where they prematched is personal info.
