Regarding exam eligibility - srisai99

I blocked my exam date in the last week of March which falls in the extended period of eligibility. If I am not prepared to take the exam in March, what is the procedure to postpone my exam. Do I have to pay the entire fee again for Step 1 or is there a nominal fee which I can pay and take my exam in April or May. Anyone in the same situation like me.Please enlighten me on this issue.

yes u will have to pay for the exam all over again...

they give only one time extension for three months and you have already done that..right?

Yes. I remember reading somewhere in this forum long ago, if we are unable to attend the exam we can pay some fee ie $340 and appear for the exam again. I am not quite sure.

no dear...please clarify your doubt by calling them...can just extend your eligibility once for 3 more months..and after that u have to redo the application...but the best answer would be to directly call them and ask...although i haven't read anything like that on their website..
