FSMB and FCVS credentials verification question? - ahmadxmzx

Hi everbody,
I have a question concerning the verification of my credential through the FCVS
FEDERATION CREDENTIALS VERIFICATION SERVICE, if I am an ECFMG certified do they need to contact my medical school to verify my diploma and transcripts or the primary source verification of my credentials through ECFMG is enough?
so If I want to apply for USMLE step 3 do I need to go through the process of verification of my credentials as I did for the ECFMG?

Hi,
I applied for step 3 recently N my application is approved (State VA). will b doing the exam in May this yr.
Applied online and just submitted Cert. of ID form via mail. Didn't do anything with FCVS.
