9 interviews..5 peds, 4 IM. mostly east coast
i graduated from an unheard of small island univ, dont ask me where.
had to face tht question at ALL interviews.. So which medical school is this again?

so for anyone in the same boat, don't lose hope!!

need visa...i had contacts at 2 places. the places where i did an observership. were useful to get a interview,but not beyond.they said they couldnt talk to the PD, only to the co-ordinator for a interview. but my advise would be ..MAKE CONTACTS left, right and center. you never know how, where it'll be helpful. ive heard amazing stories of what can happen with the right contacts.
