Do we need to council a patient who had 4 partners last year . Use condoms with activity and was tested for HIV last year that was negative ???

you ask first do u use any type of protection???if he say no then u need to council...
since he has hx of more than one partner yes ask if he ever was dx with any std in the past ...if he say no then ask if its ok to test him/ her for these std including HIV ...all the sp will say ok

in the case if ur Q ...he/she use condoms and was tested for HIV and was negative ...then make sure to tell him/ her that he is doing a good job by doing that and keep it up.
