OCPs increase estrogen levels..more TBG production: increase, decreased, no change/decrease, increase, no change/increase.

no papani i guess estrogen incrased means inc TBG rite so from dat totals increases but not free levels and TSH ...any discussion accepted..its very very imp to kow everone

only total T4/T3 increased but the free T3/4 stays the same?

increase estrogen, increase TBG, increase total thyroxin(T3/T4), free t3,4 stay the same so TSH stay the same.

nice hothellguy..yaa in pregnancy,ocps,HRT estrogen increases so dat inc TBG...so totals inc but not free levels they remian same and also TSH..thx

also, T4 has more of a negative feedback effect on TSH when compared to T3.
