Hi guys, I know the competition is damn tough nowadays....I need to ask How long USCE SHOULD ANY IMG GET IT DONE ...specially that I am not super scored in all my steps with failure trials...:|Sad

At the very minimum 6 months hands on USCE. Not including research or observerships. If u have multiple attempts better make some friends while your at it.

Some programs require atleast 1 month, others 6 months. The more the better.

docsammd is right, it cant be research or observership.

How can an IMG get (hands on) clinical experience in US? Are there certain hospitals that offer this kind of clinical experience? If yes, what are they? Thanx in advance

Iowa is thinking about opening up a clinic so we can all get hands on experience YAY!!
We just need someone to cut the ribbon for the opening day.
