Athlete present with fall on outstretched hand, and wrist tenderness on radial aspect. Initial Xray is inconclusive. Do you do MRI or give thumb spica cast ?

this questions ( just mentioning key points)

footballer comes after fall on outstretched hand 5 hrs ago. there is severe tenderness to palpation and pain at right radial aspect of dorsum of wrist. mild swelling and discomfort with reduced handgrip. Range of motion is preserved. Initial Xray is normal. After analgesia in the ER, his pain goes away and feels better. what is the most appropriate next step?
a) cast brace for 2 weeks f/b full mobility
b)MRI
c)oral anaglesia with avoiding sports activities
d)mobility as tolerated and physical therapy
e) refer for orthopedic evaluation
