regarding observ in nj or ny, u need to keep calling and calling to get to talk to someone. there are many fmg and carib grads who want to have rotations there, still they are mostly fmg frndly and ll eventually give u a chance. some are paid position(i really dont encourage it, unless u have to...i heard ppl pay around $2000-4000 for like 3 months somewhere in long island or brooklyne!). still, there are free places to. just keep trying. make sure they are going to give u good lor and is not waste of time/money. i heard some ppl charge and hook u with private offices which is pretty much useless. dont go with private agency who may rip u off...just call programs directly or a pd or a faculty. gl
