Hello. I'm studying for step 1, and I don't understand Why in pulmonary emphysema increase lung compliance?
In theory, if it has less elastic fibers...it shouldn't has less compliance????

Compliance means less resistance, less recoil. More compliance means easy to be blown with a minimum pressure but hard to deflate because there is no elastic recoil
