hello
can anyone please help regarding the neurology residency..
I wanted to know whether it is 4 year program or it does it involve 1 yr preliminary and 3 yrs neurology...
do we have to apply to prelims and categorical separately?

There are different types of neurology programs. Some are categorical which is a 4 yr program, and you apply only to that program. Others are what they call advanced programs where you are required to do a pre-lim year followed by three years in neurology. In that case you would have to apply to both pre-lim and advanced neurology programs.
