Writing your step 3 will surely help, besides the fact that you are a recent grad is in your favour too!

Thanks Canada1 do you think I have a good chance for next year? I was also not ecfmg certified at time of application

ECFMG will help alot, although USCE is more on priority list than that. Of course scores are a filter too. I was not able to apply to some due to my step 1. Some filter at 215 and others way higher than 220

Agree with nucleo. I had to pay close attention to step cutoffs just so I did not waste money!

Blow step 3 out of the water and I'm sure you'll have better chances next year for sure!

I'm surprised you didn't match. How many programs did you apply to in psych? And how many LORs specific to psych did you have?

honeslty Im surprised too I guess I lacked confidence during my interview :-(
@tormund I applied to 90 psych, only places that sponsored visa and didnt need ecfmg requirements and I had 3 LORs from psych doctors
@shigatox22 I applied to psych only and I dont know the diff between prelim and transitional I only applied to categorical
@nucleo@mel2ness yes your absolutely right I did have to pay attention to cutoffs matcharesident.com was helpful in doing that

Thanks for the advice!
