Looking for some input.
Completed MBBS Jan 2011
Date on degree is Nov 2012
Did Step 1 june 2013 Score 214 first attempt
Did Step 2 June 2014 Score 213 first attempt
Will have 3 LORs from US physicians (private practice)
currently have EAD (work authorization). Green card is being processed and should be in hand within a few months.
No research experience.
Plan to appear for step 2 CS end of this year.
Wondering if I should apply this year and what are my chances. Aiming for IM or FM. Any thoughts on Neurology?

Dude, nobody can give you any gues here. People do match with scores lower than yours and don't match with scores higher than yours.
Your + is you have no visa issues, US LORS
Your - you don't have CS results yet.

Thanks swanneck. I was a little confused since I have not appeared for CS yet. I was thinking of limiting my applications to certain programs that would accept taking in cs results at a later date.

I say go ahead and take CS soon...it will take you about 2 months to get ur results...If u can get your results by interview season, u have a good chance.
Some programs do interview ppl without CS results as they will accept ur CS result until February..but given ur scores with other steps, i think u will be much likely interviewed if u had your CS results in your hands by IV season!
