I would also like to include that even if you are a US national who has become enslaved to an American employer and by luck if you happen to be outside USA for whatever reason, never return to USA under any circumstances because as long as you are outside USA, only the local laws of the country you are staying currently apply to you and supercede all American laws and agreements. So your employer cannot persecute you in any manner or clause while you are outside USA as they are void and obsolete outside USA. Even if the US secret service persecute you outside USA, mention the aforementioned argument and tell them you have the rights of freedom and liberty outside USA and consider filing a complaint of harassment at the local Police station. Most importantly, never return to USA and explore other options to emigrate, like asylum, work visa, travelling, etc. Good luck!
