Thrombolytics Doubt - usmlex123

I have read certain explanations where they say thrombolytics are used within 6 hours/some places within 3 hours.. i kept looking and some step 2 material i came across mentions 12 hours-
For step 1, what time is the limit for the use of thrombolytics??

Its 3 hrs...
If ques is asked in my xms I wud go for 3 hrs..

3/6hrs after onset of infarction & and some would benefit up to 11:59 (if still chest discomfort & 1mm ST Up in 2 or more leads)
I will take less than 12hrs.

I used to think the same its best used within 3 hours and not past that
UW QID: 1082 mentions 6 hours

what to do??
