caribbean grads, can we do residency in new jersey - kaled32222

hey guys,

i went to a "non-big-4" school, IAU in st lucia, definitely not approved for licensure in many states like cali. but residency i dont know.

i am trying to see if my level school is allowed to do residency in new jersey or new york?

i have few interviews and my best chance is the program in jersey so was planning on ranking it #1, but read some old posts on here and now im worried that i might match but may have issues later. because many of my rotations were definitely NOT "greenbook." my 2nd best program is in new york lol so worried about that too, idk what to do. i only have 4 iv's total

of course did not check with program bc i did not want them to get worried and rank me lower

anyone have advice to give please help. thank you

if you went to a carib school non acreddited in NY you cant get the intital license unless you did set amount of rotation in the country were you school is from. I think NJ is ok tho not sure, check with fellow students or the dean of your school
