I have 5 months of USCE....I applied this match with only 2 months ...didnt match...I wanted to know is it better to do obsie in IMG friendly places or to do some volunteer research( I shall probably not be able to publish anythin in the 4 months that r available for upcoming match)

While you doing observership approach residents and attendings about helping them with case reports and your scholarly file will also be built for future

clinical experience carries higher weight-age than research esp if no publications. My advice would be to go for observerships and get more and more clinical experience. Good luck!
