Basic question - redceo123
#1
In emphysema, is there respiratory acidosis or respiratory alkalosis. In obstructive lung disease, there should be a trouble breathing the air right and so there will be increased Pco2>>>resp acidosis.

I have noted in my FA, under emphysema, that there is respiratory alkalosis. Did i note down incorrectly?

If someone can explain the mechanism that would be great.

thanks
