Hi everyone
My step 1 score is 262
step 2 Ck 250
Cs cleared 1st attempt
I have 1 month observeship in mount sinai
and 1 month clinical elective in cardiology in mass general hosp
now
i want to ask that should i apply on this or i should go for some externship also to make my chances more strong
ps:i am an IMG

you to do all u can do to not have a gap next year,

whether it means starting residency in your home country, doing externships and observerships, finding research etc.

but don't stress out about it, if you want to enjoy the year and drink lots of pina coladas you've got an excellent chance of matching somewhere so that could work too

if by externship you mean the paid ones in a private clinic, I would suggest you save your hard earned money considering you've got to great USCE enounters
