for threatened the abortion the management is send home and ask her for bed rest , sleep on the left side and stay away from intercourse and then come the next week , as the UW says 25% of pregnancies will have threaten abortion

Latest uworld question (Question ID 4805, updated 2/16/16) says that bed rest is NOT the correct answer. The explanation states that bed rest and abstaining from sexual activity has no evidence to support. Uworld answer was "Reassurance and Outpatient follow up".

Has anyone seen an NBME exam question on threatened abortion, if so what was the answer? This is new to me as I've always heard bed rest was the correct answer.

Just checked up to date, which states that threatened abortions are to be managed expectantly and bed rest has not been found to be beneficial.
