I graduated in March 2012. How do programs calculate YOG when I apply for 2017 match? 5 or 4?

You calculate 2017-2012=5, your YOG is 5 years.

Mot program cutoff is 3 YEARS MAX.

@ryanhope I dont know about 3, maybe most have 5, but still it is very variable in general.

if u are 2012 grad and u apply for the coming match you ll be 4 years old grad by most programs...if u have done a residency in home country the equation changes a bit..
