hi guys, 2 quick questions before SOAP.......
1. During SOAP, do you apply to only programs that you initially applied to or can you apply to any programs that are available even if you didn't apply to them the first time?
2. Also, can you apply to a hospital that sent you a rejection if they have unfilled spots?

Soap is more catered towards US grads.. so on that note.. apply to the programs/states that are IMG friendly (If you are not US grad). I did SOAP last year and had one phone IV from Vermont but didn't get an offer in the end.. to answer your question-- apply to the programs with more spots and to the ones where you exceed their requirements.. Don't know what field you are applying in but try to go for the less competitive ones of course.

oh yeah guys, I chatted with a lady on NRMP just now she said
1. yes I can apply to programs I didn't apply to before
2. yes I can apply to programs that rejected me.
3. if I applied previously, then the SOAP application is free, and maximum of 45 programs.
