FOr an acute severe psychotic episode or noncompliance of oral anti-psychotics by a patient, can IV Haliperidol & Fluphenazine be given? Or can they only be given IM?

I think yes. IV halopridol decanoate has a long lasting effect. But if the patient does not comply even with the IV haloperidol, depending in the psychotic disorder, a cognitive behavioral therapy can duely be instituted..Alibism
