a 53yr old caucassian femaleadmited to ER with hypotension. her condition is considerd very serious n invasive hemodynamic monitering is established.bp by intra atrial method is72/46hr-120 regularPCWP by swan ganz catheter is6mmhg.mixed venous oxygen content is16vol%which of the following is most likely cause of this pts condition?
1) cardiogenic shock
2)vol depletion
3)septic shock
4)vol overload
5)RV infarction
6)hemorrhagic shock
7) neurogenic shock

--the key of the question is mixed venous oxygen content and we have to find out that--

the hypotension and pcwp go in favour of hypotensive shock but not mixed venous o2--i suppose---not sure

but mixed venous oxygen is incresed in septic shock ? and it could be septic shock --but in warm stage of septic shock cardiac output should be increased.?

anyway i will go for septic shock --cannot abandon it

its septic shock becoz of mvo2 is normal. see for golgen notes

What is the normal VO2 and how would it be in all the conditions listed?
