Hello everybody
Is there a point to send email to PDs before invitation some body told me there must be new information or updates. Can I just emeil them as a reminder or something like that would that help to get an IV?

I would discourage you to do so unless you really have something worthy that most of others don't have and which you think might get missed through filters.
Emailing PDs has become very common and contributes to noise.

DO NOT E-MAIL the PDs. IF you feel you need to put your name out there with a program e-mail the PC. Do not expect a response.

I did to test the waters. (Sent an email of interest to about 30 programs)
Within a day or two I received 3 rejections- I'm just glad that it is not a generic rejection letter, but a personalized one saying that they have reviewed my application but are unable to offer me an interview. Not sure if it is a good thing. At least I finally heard something, and I think they were prob gonna reject me anyways! Good luck all! |
