graduated in 2013 ,intership + work later on ...step 1 dec 2016 scored 213 , very frustrated ...any suggestions on continuing the journey ?? matching chances ?? additional information that can help matching ??

There are probably 100 posts exactly like this one, so you can probably look through existing threads that will share lots of advice.

Your Step scores are THE most important thing on your application. Your score will weed you out of some interviews, but there are lots still open to you. Redeeming yourself with a high Step 2 score will be huge.

Other criteria they like on an application: work experience, life experience, research, US citizenship, recent graduation date (over-ride with good clinical experience), strong LORs from US physicians. Just to name a few.
