Hello guys .. So I'm an IMG and i failed 2 years in med school.. So now I'm in the last year of med school and I'm thinking of repeating this year so i can study step one full time this year, after i take step one I graduate.. So i still FRESH GRADUATE for the MATCHING.. It's getting hard for the YOG .. So is this a good idea ?? And if it's not then why ?? Please guys help me

you will be asked about repeated years of med school in your interviews.failing a subject in med school isnt a big red flag for IMGs if you have a good step score but failing a whole year is a red flag.

Okii .. But which one is better ??
YOG: 2 years ago .. But repeated 3 years in med school
YOG : 3 years ago .. But repeated 2 years in med school
P.s : I had war in my country.. So is that a good excuse for repeating??

Focus on good scores. It can overcome repeats in med school
