Anything missing w Acute Intermittent Porphyria? - goodman

Present with severe abdominal pain.

Porphyrias
Intermittent: Neurovisceral S/S, Erythropietic: Painful skin and acute swelling and Cutanea Tarda: chronic blistering skin lesion.
WATSON-SCHWARTZ TEST detects porphobilinogen in urine, and is used in the Dx of PORPHYRIAS
INTERMITTENT -------------------------------------> URINE PORPHOBILINOGEN
ERYTHROPOIETIC ----------------------------------> ERYTHROCYTE PORPHYRINS AND PLASMA PROPHYRINS.
CUTANEA TARDA -----------------------------------> URINE PORPHYRIN AND SECOND FECAL PORPHYRIN.
Porphyria Cutanea Tarda
Plasma Porphyrins + Uroporphyrin I (urine) + Isocoproporphyrin (feces) are ELEVATED. Present w/either abdominal pain or chronic skin blistering.
Blisters and Crusted lesions on Sun-exposed skin of face and lower arms + CATERPILLAR BODIES

Which are the associations that are missing? That is key on this test. If you cannot make associations you wont pass.
