uneven gluteal folds, can dislocate hop backwards with a click and push it back in place with a snap.

dont do an xray to diagnose- hip is not calcified in neonate.

diagnostic mode of choice = sonogram.

treat with abd. splint with pavlik harness for 6 months ( wearing double diapers has a similar effect)
