Question of matching probability. - colombiamed
#1
Hello , i am a 23 year old med student and will be an IMG in January 2019 (Im a US citizen). I have a step 1 of 213 and i just got the result that i failed my first attempt at Step 2 CS , i failed the ICE part , but I have no idea how that happened. I just finished doing a 6 moth rotation of internal medicine as a sub I so I had good english, good patient notes and good patient encounter.
Do you think its still possible to match in the future? I appreciate any kind of help. Thank you

yes you can get matched. but you need to pass the CS exam in this attempt, because if you fail again in will become very difficult. Try to practice a lot and it will be better if you practice with study partner. Dont lose hope.
