Do I have to use the same personal statement for both internal medicine and family medicine?

You don't have to, but you can since they are so closely related. If you have a separate personal statement for each, then use them.

It's always recommended to have the specialty associated PS. It's easy. You just have to change the subject of your specialty in your PS.

Try to get a seperate personal statement for IM and FM specialty it will be good for the application.

IM and FM are very different to be honest..I wrote separate PS for both as they both have different contexts of medicine.
