Question about Personal statement - hekischneki

hello guys.

If i am applying for preliminary programs and advanced programs like dermatology or radiology etc. in the next match season is it a bad idea to apply with the same personal statement for advanced programs to preliminary programs or should I make separate personal statement for each type of programs? Because my goal is the advanced program at the end and not the preliminary program.

I'm applying to Neurology so pgy1 and pgy 2 I'm working on two separate personal statements but my statement for PGY1 is focused on Neuro but more the importance of the PGY1 year.
