I m working as tele.tech.in a hospital here in USA but I m leaving this job next week.May I ask doctor to give me LOR right now while I m planning for 2007.At the time of application submission it will b difficult for me to come back and find them.

Yes, you can & you should ask for the LOR's right now..Take them while they still are fresh to write abt you & your work done there..
