what chances for OBG?

well it will be great if some body can answer that, that how is the obgyn residency in terms of competition specially the low level community programs


plz some body ans it.....

n 1 more thing every body on this forum is interested in knowing his/her chances for IM but very few for peds psych or obgyn etc..............

I think no chances for OBG now. Get real.
Try FM, Get good letters from OBG people during rotation in PGY1 in FM, and reapply to OBG
The first year successful enter - with good scores. The second year - with good letters.

I totally agree with scorpio6. No chance for OBGY now. FP or IM in community settings is your best bet.

If you had strong background in ON_GYN, some US experience in US, good personality, maybe step3 also. It's not impossible. Actually for OBGYN, score is not thr most important factor.

in OBG you have to put your hands in the vagina and even try to paplate the uterus labia majora and minora cant loose your sight!
