Dear lisa/ss,
Are u done with step3 if yes then how well did u do?pls advice me if u have taken Kaplan I can only afford med pass? is it worth & enough(30 visits) to watch vidieos? or simply just read the kaplan books along with other material?I really want to do best in step 3. pls reply me thanx

Does the step 3 score affect ones future fellowship chances one way or another.

Hi Rani,
I got 86 on my step3. I don't know how much step3 affects the future fellowship. I think it's easier to take it during the IM or FP residency (if you find time to study). Kaplan videos (there is a CD) are very important for CCS. There are many books about step3 out there but try to study more about CCS and management. Review also step2 material.

Lisa - Do I need to be ECFMG Certified to apply for CT step3. My situation is "Met ECFMG requirements".... however waiting for certificate to be mailed to me.
pls advise. fsmb.org asks for ecfmg certified date in their application.
