i will go for A...but E also a good option as it will facilitate the clearing since he is an alcoholic, uric acid is having hard time getting a chance to be cleared (lactic acid, according to Goljan)..uterus, can you please tell us the right answers for this and the other Qs u posted? Thanks

the correct answer is B, cause this is the case of acute gout, allopurinol and probenecid are used exclusivley in chronic gout
