Plz clarify,

Kaplan micro 2005 pg 6 Enterotoxic E.coli LT stimulates an adenylate cyclase by ADP rybosilation of GTP binding protein

But on pg 62 ETEC LT stimulates adenylate cyclase by ADP ribosylation of Gs

My question is Gs or GTP???

Uterus, on google search it says ADP ribosylation of Gs.

Gs is a GTP-binding protein

Helpful hint with regards to bugs and G-proteins:

Gs activated bugs: ETEC & Vibro cholera

Gi activated bugs: B. pertusis

Ribosylation via EF-2: Pseudomonas & C. diptheria

Remember that all 3 (Gs, Gi and EF-2 bugs) they all will INCREASE cAMP levels!
