2, you don't get hematuria
3, not micro usually macrscopic hem.
4, again if ever it cause hem, it got to be macroscopic
5, don't know infections leads to hem.

Hey kj, BPH does seem to be the commonest cause of hematuria in males over 50. Check out the following links:

thanks for links, but Q is Microscopic hematuria, because otherwise renal stone, bladder cancer cause for sure hematuria.

What's the mechnism of microscopic hematuria caused by BPH? I thought BPH caused UTI (asymptomatic and symptomatic).
