CV query..abstracts with unknown acceptance status - rathi001

can I also include an abstract in my CV that i have submitted for a conference about to take place in October...but the problem is that if it is rejected(i would come to know of the acceptance status only in late september)...it would put me in an embarassing situation in interviews if i am asked about it....what do you suggest for THIS ?

I want to include because its a very reputed international conference....would definitely help a lot in the CV...please advice..

u can mention that it is going to be submitted in late sep to blah blah conference
