A man is aknown heterozygous carrier of a mutation that causes hemochromatosis ( auto rec).suppose 1%of gen pop consists of homozygotes for this this mutation .If a man mates with somebody from gen population ,what is probality that he and his mate will produce a child who is an affected homozygote?

I have a doubt if you have to consider the heterozygous man mates with a heterozygous female or a homozygous female
