i wanted to know how efective it is to call a program once you have applied to it.does this helps you in getting an interview call?

it can go against u . dont let them think ur desperate for calls.they will slam the phone.

well it might be effiective ..but i guess htis might not be an ideal time to call..call those programs wheich have already sent calls and u didnt recieve any. Show dem ur deep interest in the program and dat u are eagerly waiting for the response.

I think it won't make any difference...May be it can go against you ...otherwise everybody will b calling them and they will be on phone all the time ...and there will be nobody to review our application. ...
