It is a fairly good program tough...should be the fourth in reputation and quality in Texas (which is a pretty bug state).

that sucks...I really wanted to apply there...it sounded like a solid program. But after reveiewing the webpage and forumulating a general opinion for this place, I figured it would be a tough cookie to crack....as tough as UTSW...so I didn't bother applying...oh well...

Texas in general is a "tough cookie", at least at the University programs. But Galveston is relatively "friendlier". Good luck.

My interview in Peds is on the 3rd week of December. I hope i'll get in there because they have an ID fellowship. Yup, Texas is one tough cookie....
