Stretch receptor in the (detrusor) muscle of the bladder convey information to the cord via dorsal root ganglion cells which in turn innervate preganglionic PsY neurons around S2-S4.
The postgannglionicthen innervate the detrusor musle and make it contract forcing out urine.
This is a reflex pathway that unable infants to urinate before voluntary control patways are myelineted
B/L lesion of this circuit lead œbladders extended to the level of the umbilicus œ I,e.no reflexive emptying
