confused with ranking please help me - lisy

if I feel strong that a program is going to rank me high, but I have 2 better programs on top of that, will it affect my chances of going there, or if I didn't match on the first 2 will keep going down my list, please help???

Rank YOUR favorite programs first - there is no way to assess what impression you left so go for it & take a chance on the best ones. The Match works in favor of the candidate so even if you rank the one that liked you lower & you don't match into your first couple of programs, you can still match into this 3rd program.

my view is that rank the progs that like you first..
you need to work with people for 4-5 years.. if they like you chances of you completing residency and getting subsequent fellowship is higher
