why not the option (e) meaning cpr , defibrillate at 200 once and then intubate. A pt who is unresponsive needs an airway and i just needed to confirm that if u defibrillate a pt once at 200 and his ekg normalizes would it not be better to intubate then.please correct me as intubation is a part of the sequence in vfib

drzaf_zaf in case of a med emergency the basic rules of airway breathing and circulation apply.. you do not wait to see if after an initial shock he requires an intubation or not... its the first basic reuirement.. secure an airway...a guy who comes to u with a Vfib is not breathing..give him an airway..
