An honest opinion - tulja
#1
Dear all
I am an old graduate-graduated in 1994.
My scores are 91,99 and yesterday I learnt that I have passed cs -all first attempt.
I am in UK for the past 7 years and working in Paeds.
Want to migrate to USA bcos of family reasons.
I want to change to other specialities which give a better life-I am vexed with night oncalls.Do i stand a chance in specialities like Pathology?
I am keeping Peds as my second option. Please can any one give me an honest opinion about my chances?
My mitigating factors are my age(37) and graduated 13 years ago. Will i stand a chance if i want to shift over to other specialities?

id say stick to paeds. thats ur best shot. sometimes in life we lose what we have only to realise thats what we wanted.

but u can definately play the game. and as u said do keep paeds as a second option.
